Women’s Chorus

Megan Gallagher is a Middle school choir and theater director in Milford where she has been growing and expanding their vocal music program for the last 9 years. During that time Megan has been an active member of MSVMA taking her students to state honors choir and state choral festival multiple times. Other than conducting choir in her spare time Megan directs her school’s musical and coaches North Farmington High School Girls and Boys swimming for the last 10 years.

Megan has been singing as a member of the Women’s Chorus for the last 6 years where she has been a part of ladies first as well. She was also fortunate enough to sing with the Ann Arbor Symphony on the Mozart Requiem with the group in 2019. Megan also sang with Chorale for a few years where she was a part of Encore and Just too Sharp.

Before moving to Livingston county Megan was a part of the Farmington community chorus, Farmington Concert band, and Royal Oak Community Band. She also was the co-director of the Royal Oak Children’s Choir for 2 years.

Megan Graduated with a Bachelors of music education from Grand Valley State University in 2013 and has been teaching music in some capacity ever since. She also has a Master’s of Arts in Educational Technology from Michigan State University (2017).
